‘DAM’ Fast Fashion – A Multi-Platform Campaign for Conscious Clothing
‘DAM’ (Don’t Abandon Mindfulness) Fast Fashion was a student-led awareness campaign designed to spotlight the environmental and ethical impacts of the fast fashion industry. At the heart of the project was a custom-built website that served as a central hub, connecting users to a broader digital ecosystem of interactive content, educational resources, and community engagement.
My Role:
I contributed to campaign strategy, content creation, and cross-platform coordination. I helped develop blog articles, infographics, and curated social media content to maintain consistent messaging and drive traffic back to the website.
Key Features:
Website Hub: Our low-impact, minimalist website hosted blog posts, educational videos, sustainable brand alternatives, and user challenges to help reduce fashion waste.
Social Media Outreach: We launched coordinated posts across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to share bite-sized facts, styling tips, and behind-the-scenes process work.
Interactive Tools: Through embedded quizzes, visuals, and user-generated challenges, we encouraged visitors to reflect on their shopping habits and take action.
Cross-Linking Strategy: All social content included direct links to relevant pages on the website, positioning it as the campaign's home base for deeper engagement.
Impact:
The ‘DAM’ Fast Fashion project successfully demonstrated how digital storytelling and multi-platform strategy can work together to educate and empower audiences. By using the website as a central anchor and amplifying its reach through social platforms, we built an accessible, informative campaign that encouraged mindful fashion choices in a relatable, Gen Z-friendly way.
